This Hands on 8 hour Intensive course was created to teach officers of all computer skill levels how to search the computers, digital cameras and even the micro SD cards from cell phones (which normally contain pictures and videos) of offenders while in the Field.  The Field Search Software is Distributed Free to Law Enforcement, and the Certification course thoroughly instructs sworn officers in all the bells and whistles of this extremely powerful and flexible tool.  

Students of all computer skill levels walk out of this 8 hour class able to confidently search digital devices, create court worthy reports, and hold offenders accountable for their electronic actions.

         Every student receives:                                                   

• A USB drive with Field Search Already Installed
• A Multi Card Reader to read flash cards from digital cameras and Micro SD cards from CellPhones.
• 29 Other Pieces of free software to assist in digital investigations.

 Field Search Will Quickly Search  through files on computer hard drives, flash drives, cards from digital cameras and other digital devices and is extremely fast.  A routine examination of a computer with an 80gig Hard Drive takes about 5 minutes to complete.

Officers can then examine the results live in the offender/suspect's home or work and select files they want in their report.

The report is then made right then and there and saved back onto the FIELD SEARCH USB drive each student receives.

Field Search Will find and display for investigation:

• URL records (i.e. www.fieldsearchtraining.com), Even some records the suspect believes he deleted!
• Images (Pictures) several different formats....JPEG, GIF, BMT, PNG, and many more.
• Videos (Movies) several different formats....WMV, MPEG, FLV etc.
• Files sitting in the recycle bin (the user believes they deleted these files.  Includes date and time  they were deleted.
• The Most recently used files (I.E. the last documents opened in MS Word)
• Link Files (This powerful component shows files and icons  the user clicked upon.  It can include files that no longer exist on the computer because they were accessed from a removable drive such as a USB flash drive.)
• A very powerful keyword search to allow custom quick investigation looking for email addresses, victim names and numbers, credit card or account numbers etc.
